Free indoor cycling platform · Windows · Mac · iPhone · Android

Real courses. Real resistance. No subscription.

Liga Ride is a free training platform for cyclists and triathletes, made by Liga Triathlonu, Poland's amateur triathlon league. Pair your trainer over Bluetooth and ride the courses of real Polish races, mapped from aerial laser scanning. Your trainer, heart-rate strap and Zwift remote work out of the box, and everyone rides together regardless of platform.

Courses

13 courses available now.

Bike loops of real Polish triathlon races, the amateur Tour de Pologne loop in Bukowina Tatrzańska, the Karkonosze Pass climb and one fictional world. Details, elevation profiles and photos are on the Polish route pages.

How a course is made

Geometry first, not graphics.

Terrain. The national digital terrain model from aerial laser scanning, one point per metre, with an orthophoto on top: fields, forests, ditches, buildings.

Route. A GPX or KML track snapped to the OpenStreetMap road graph. Without a track, an algorithm routes along the graph using anchors from the race plan: turnarounds, roundabouts, the pass through town.

Physics. Only measured power enters the game. One shared model computes speed twenty times a second from power, rider weight, aerodynamics and gradient, so results compare across trainers. The gradient goes to the trainer over FTMS, so you feel the climb.

Gear

Got a Bluetooth trainer? You have everything.

Required: Bluetooth Low Energy in your computer, tablet or phone, and a smart trainer with Bluetooth FTMS (telemetry plus resistance control: ERG, gradient, gears) or a power meter / trainer with the Cycling Power profile (no resistance control).

Optional: a Bluetooth heart-rate strap, a separate Bluetooth cadence sensor, a gear remote (Zwift Click, Play, Ride, Click v2, Cycplus BC2), a gamepad.

Not supported: ANT+ (currently), and closed ecosystems that do not broadcast power over Bluetooth (iFit, Peloton).

Computer: Windows 10/11 64-bit or macOS 12 or newer (Intel and Apple Silicon). Phone and tablet: iOS 16 or newer, Android 10 or newer.

FAQ

Questions.

How is Liga Ride different from Zwift, Rouvy and MyWhoosh?
Same hardware, different model. Liga Ride is free and rides the courses of real Polish races mapped from geodetic data, there is no store or subscription, and riders on Windows, Mac, iPhone and Android share one course. Zwift, Rouvy and MyWhoosh have bigger global communities and more worlds. The same sensors and remotes pair in all of them, so you can use both.
How much does it cost?
Nothing. The game is free, the Liga Triathlonu account is free, and there is no subscription or advertising. You pay only for your own training hardware.
What hardware do I need?
A smart trainer with Bluetooth FTMS: it receives the course gradient and gets harder uphill, and workouts run in ERG mode. A trainer or power meter without FTMS but with Cycling Power also works, without resistance control. A heart-rate strap, cadence sensor and gear remote are optional. ANT+ is currently not supported.
Does it run on phones?
Yes. The iPhone and iPad version is in the App Store, the Android version in Google Play. You pair the trainer, heart-rate strap, cadence sensor and remote in the app, and you see the same riders as players on computers.
Do Zwift remotes work?
Yes, natively: Zwift Click, Zwift Play and Zwift Ride work after pairing, with no Zwift subscription. The right half of Zwift Click v2 works out of the box; the left half needs a one-time unlock on a computer. Cycplus BC2 is supported too. You can also shift with the keyboard, a gamepad or on-screen buttons.
Can I upload rides to Strava?
Yes. After every ride you get a .FIT file with the GPS track of the course, ready for Strava, intervals.icu, TrainingPeaks or any other platform. intervals.icu can also be linked in the profile to pull workouts into the game.
Is the website available in English?
This page is the English summary. The full website, the help centre and the download page are in Polish, and the game itself is in Polish. Press materials in English and Polish are in the press kit.
